019 Do You Hate Your Money Goal?

Perfectionists set a money goal, only to discover their underlying belief of not being good enough. This creates a conflict of using the goal against yourself to prove this belief true.

I teach you why you hate your money goals through this podcast. Money goals are often set to feel proud, secure, and happy, but often end up being a source of resentment. We need to be honest with ourselves when setting goals, acknowledge our accomplishments, and feel proud and secure in the present.

"Our brains care more about being right about who we are and how we behave than they do about being curious about the world."

In this episode, you will learn the following:

 1. What is the underlying reason for setting a money goal if we know we can't actually meet it?

2. How can we stop ourselves from becoming perfectionists when striving to reach our goals?

3. What are the ways we can feel proud, secure, happy, and relaxed in the present moment, even if we haven't met our goals yet?
